Propolis is a resinous substance that bees collect from the buds of certain trees. Bees bring it back to the hive for various uses: sealing cracks and holes, but also as a means of biological control.

Propolis is rich in flavonoids, trace elements, organic acids, vitamins… By coating the inside of their habitat with a thin film of this resin, bees protect themselves from diseases, viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
